Do I need to know exactly what I want?

No. You do not need a full brief or a perfect plan. Tell us what your business does, who you help, and what you would like the website to do. We can guide the rest.

What do you need from me to begin?

A few simple details are enough to start: what your business does, the services you offer, where you work, and any photos, logos, text or examples you already have.

Can you help if I do not have photos, text or a logo yet?

Yes. Existing photos, wording and branding are useful, but they are not required before you contact us. We can explain what would help and keep the process manageable.

How long does it take to get started?

Getting started only takes a few minutes. Once you send the basics, we can look at what you need and explain the best next step.

Pricing and monthly plans

Is the website really built with no upfront build fee?

Yes. There is no upfront website build fee. Instead, your website is covered by a simple monthly plan that includes the build, hosting, maintenance, updates and support.

What does the monthly fee include?

The monthly fee covers more than just the website build. It includes hosting, ongoing maintenance, updates and support, so you are not left to manage the technical side yourself.

Why does the monthly price vary?

Different businesses need different websites. A simple brochure site usually needs less work than a larger site with more pages, content or ongoing support needs. We will explain the right plan before you commit.

Is hosting included?

Yes. Hosting is included in the monthly service, so you do not need to arrange separate website hosting yourself.

Are maintenance and updates included?

Yes. Maintenance and updates are included as part of the managed service. That means you do not need to deal with plugins, updates, hosting settings or technical upkeep.

Domains and ownership

Do I own my domain name?

Yes. Your domain name should belong to you or your business. We can help with registration, setup and ongoing management, but we will explain everything clearly before you commit.

Can you help if I already have a domain name?

Yes. If you already have a domain, we can help connect it to your new website and guide you through anything we need from you.

Is a domain included in the monthly plan?

A standard domain can be included with your website plan. Some domain names cost more than others, so we will always make this clear before anything is agreed.

The website itself

What pages can my website include?

Most small business websites start with pages such as Home, About, Services and Contact. If you need more, we can shape the plan around what your business actually needs.

Will my website work on mobiles?

Yes. Your website will be built to work properly on mobiles, tablets and desktop screens, so visitors can use it wherever they find you.

Can the website grow later?

Yes. The website can grow as your business grows. You can start with what you need now and add more pages, sections or features later if they make sense.

Can you replace my old website?

Yes. If your current website feels dated, hard to update or no longer reflects your business, we can help you move to something cleaner and easier to manage.

What if my business outgrows the website?

That is fine. Tiny Tail Designs is designed to help small businesses get online without unnecessary faff, but your website does not have to be a dead end. If your business grows and you need something more advanced later, we can help you move to a larger setup through one of our trusted partners, so your content and online presence can keep moving forward.

Support and changes

How do I request changes after launch?

Once your website is live, support requests and website changes can be handled through the Client Area. That keeps everything in one place and makes it easier to track.

Are small content updates included?

Yes. Small content updates are included, such as simple wording changes or small updates to existing content. If something is larger, we will explain that clearly before doing the work.

What happens if something goes wrong?

You have someone to contact. Because the website is managed, you are not left alone trying to work out hosting, updates or technical issues yourself.

What if I have a question before getting started?

Use the Contact Us page for general questions. If you already know you want a website, the Get Started page is usually the better place to begin.

Existing websites and DIY builders

Is this the same as using Wix or Squarespace?

No. Wix, Squarespace and similar tools still expect you to build and manage the website yourself. Tiny Tail Designs is done for you, so you do not have to choose templates, handle settings or keep things updated.

Can you help if I already have a website builder site?

Yes. If your current website builder setup feels limiting, confusing or too time-consuming, we can help you move to a managed website service instead.

Do I need to keep managing the website myself?

No. You can be as hands-on or hands-off as you like. The Client Area is there if you want to make or request changes, but the service is designed so you are not left managing the website on your own.
